The rumors about Marc Jacobs leaving LV were coming in a stormy way. I try myself not to believe them. But in the morning of the Spring Summer 2014 collection, the confirmation was already out. Even though was nice to hear his departure was his own choice to be able to pay more attention to developing his own brands, I felt like somebody just die. I know it sounds weird, but Marc at LV was one of my first contacts with fashion. The very first fashion item I fell in love with was, of course, the monogram multicolor handbag. And from then on, I became a huge fan of the brand, and Jacobs himself, I always love designers that make the difference, whose vision is so particular that most people will never understand why other like what they do. But life moves on, so we should, I wish the best luck to Nicolas Ghesquiere taking over Louis Vuitton and I look forward to see what Nicolas and Marc have in mind for both brands.
